Memory of Trees Is the visual commemoration to the one million Armenians slaughtered in Turkey almost a century ago during what is known today as the Armenian Genocide. Still today, the Turkish government fiercely rejects this claim. This work is a five-year journey through the massacres and deportations, the loss of cultural identity, and for those Armenians who still live in Turkey, their hardship and isolation.
